Privacy notice

Ro LiveOps is a free personal project shared with friends. This page explains what the current private version stores and why.

Small-project note: This is a plain-language description of the current setup, not legal advice. If Ro LiveOps becomes public or commercial, this notice should be reviewed and expanded with the operator's real contact details.

Who operates it

Ro LiveOps is operated as a small, free personal project. For access, account, or privacy questions, contact the person or private channel that invited you to the project.

What the app stores

  • Your display name and email address for your account.
  • A password-derived hash and salt. The plaintext password is not stored.
  • A hash of your login session token so a signed-in session can be checked without storing the usable token.
  • Your Roblox Open Cloud key encrypted on the server. The full key is not shown again after it is saved.
  • Connection metadata and Roblox experience or community information returned by the Roblox APIs.
  • Short-lived, one-way rate-limit identifiers used to prevent repeated abusive requests.

Your selected dark or light theme is kept in this browser's local storage and is not part of your account data.

Why it is used

The information above is used to create and protect your account, keep you signed in, verify and use your Roblox connection, show your workspace, and prevent abuse. Roblox data is used to provide the features you requested.

Roblox connections

When you add a key, Ro LiveOps sends it to Roblox Open Cloud to verify the key and request the selected read-only information. Ro LiveOps is not affiliated with Roblox. You can delete a connection from the app to remove its stored encrypted credential and metadata from the current account.

Never paste your Roblox password into Ro LiveOps. Use a separate read-only Open Cloud key and do not share that key with anyone.

Service providers

The site is hosted and served through Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare Functions, with account data stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Roblox receives requests needed for the Roblox connection. The current version does not use advertising, analytics, or a third-party tracking service.

How long it stays

  • Account and connection data stays until you ask for it to be deleted or the project operator removes it.
  • Login sessions can last up to seven days and are removed when they expire or when you log out.
  • Rate-limit records are short-lived and cleaned up after about 24 hours.
  • The current sync result is kept in the browser while you use the app; the account database stores connection metadata, not a permanent copy of every sync response.

Your requests

You can ask the project operator to correct or delete your account and connected data through the private invite channel. You can also remove your Roblox connection in the app and log out at any time. If the project later serves people publicly or commercially, the privacy process and contact details will be updated before that change.
